To give you even more freedom when working with subtasks, we'll show you how to move them between tasks and make it easier to organize your workflow.

Who can use this feature?

This feature is available to all users with the status of Regular member or higher.

Where can I find this feature?

You can move subtasks from the Workspace (1) and also from the Projects module (2).

How to move a subtask between tasks

1) From the Workspace and also from the list view of the Project task list:

You can open the Subtask window and look for the "More options" menu - the three dots - of the subtask.

2) From the board view of the Project task list:

Look for the source task and expand to see the subtasks:

Then click on the "Move" option and select the target task from its Tasklist.

NOTE: If your subtask has a timer running, you won't be able to move it to another task. You'll need to pause the timer first and then move it.

That's it, your subtask will be moved to the target task with all of its features (description, checklists, time entries, assignees, priority level, labels, planned dates, etc.) and you can continue working on it.

Take advantage of this freedom and continue working without roadblocks.
