Managing your projects effectively in Nutcache involves understanding the various project statuses and their implications. Each status provides crucial information about the project's stage, helping you and your team stay organized and informed. Here's a clear guide to what each status means and how it affects your project management workflow:

🟦 Planned

The "Planned" status is automatically assigned when you create a new project. It serves as an informative label, indicating that the project is in its initial phase and preparations are underway.

🟩 In Progress

When a project is actively being worked on, it is marked as "In Progress." This status is purely informative, signaling that the project is underway and tasks are being executed.

🟨 Paused

When a project is temporarily put on hold, it is marked as "Paused." This status is informative, indicating that the project is expected to resume in the future. Unlike "Canceled" or "Archived," you can still make changes to a paused project.

⬛ Completed

Once you finish all the tasks and deliverables of a project, you can mark it as "Completed." In this status, you can no longer create new tasks, time entries, or expenses. However, you can still invoice the project for any pending payments.

🟥 Canceled

If a project needs to be terminated before completion, it is set to "Canceled." This status indicates that the project is no longer active, and no modifications or further work can be performed on it.

⬜ Archived

Similar to "Canceled," an "Archived" project is inactive and cannot be modified or worked on. Archiving is typically used for completed projects that you want to keep for record-keeping purposes without cluttering your active project list.

By understanding these statuses, you can better manage your projects, keeping everyone on the same page and ensuring that each project progresses smoothly from start to finish.
