Overview

The Nutcache mobile app provides an efficient way to track your work hours through a built-in timer feature. Whether you are working on a task or subtask, you can easily start, stop, and save time entries directly from the app, ensuring accuracy in your project tracking.

This guide will walk you through launching timers from the app's Quick Access, individual tasks, and subtasks.

Who can use this feature?

All Nutcache members can use the timer feature to track their time entries. However, the ability to submit time entries may vary depending on your plan (Pro or Enterprise).

Where can I find this feature?

You can access the timer functionality from multiple areas within the Nutcache mobile app:

  • Quick Access Timer on the home page

  • Timer options on tasks and subtasks within the task view page

How to launch timers on tasks and subtasks

Starting a Timer via Quick Access

1) Locate the Quick Access Timer
On the app’s home page, find the Quick Access Timer at the top of the screen.

2) Start the Timer
Tap the Quick Access Timer. A pop-up window will appear where you can fill in necessary details such as the project and task.

3) Activate and Start the Timer
Once the details are filled in, the Start Timer button will be enabled. Tap it to begin tracking your time.

Starting a Timer on Tasks or Subtasks

You can also start a timer directly on tasks or subtasks:

1) From the Home Page
In the app’s home page, locate the Today’s Agenda section. Here, you will see your list of tasks and subtasks for the day. Tap the Start Timer option next to a task or subtask to begin tracking your time.

2) From the Task or Subtask Full Page
You can also open a task or subtask to its full page view. In the detailed view, find and tap the Start Timer option located in the top-right corner to begin tracking your time.

Adding Time Manually

If you prefer, you can add time entries manually. For more details on how to manually add time, refer to the My Time section within the Nutcache app.

IMPORTANT - Automatic Save: When you stop a timer, the recorded time entry is automatically saved and displayed on the My Time page.

That’s it! With Nutcache’s timer feature, you can accurately track your work hours, whether you are on a task, subtask, or using Quick Access. This helps you maintain precise records and stay productive on the go.
