Overview
The Nutcache mobile app provides a comprehensive task management feature, allowing users to view and manage their tasks and subtasks efficiently. Through the mobile app, users can access a full task view, checklists, comments, calendar, and list views, making it easier to stay organized and keep track of work.
This guide covers how to access and manage tasks and subtasks using the Nutcache mobile app.
Who can use this feature?
All Nutcache users can access the task management features. The permissions to create, edit, and modify tasks or subtasks depend on your role and project settings.
Where can I find this feature?
You can access task management from the My Tasks screen in the Nutcache mobile app.
How to Manage Tasks and Subtasks
Navigating My Tasks Screen
From the home page, tap on My Tasks for quick access.
In the My Tasks screen, you can choose between the Planned or Unplanned switcher:
Calendar View (planned tasks): Displays all tasks with planned dates in a weekly or monthly view.
List View (unplanned tasks): Shows all unplanned tasks in a list, sorted by priority.
How to Get There
Access My Tasks: Tap on My Tasks from the quick access menu on the home page.
Planned View: Tap the calendar icon to switch between weekly and monthly views.
Unplanned View: Tap on the Unplanned switcher to view tasks without planned dates in a list format.
Full Task View
To access detailed information about a task or subtask:
Tap on any mini card from the Today’s agenda or the My Tasks screen.
This will open the full page view of the selected task or subtask.
What’s Available in Full Task View?
In the full task view, you can see:
Task and subtask name
Project name
Task list name
Planned dates
Estimated time and allocated time
Priority and status
Task or subtask description
Timer
Checklists
Comments (by switching to the Comments tab)
You can also:
Start a timer by tapping on the timer icon at the top right of the screen.
Mark a task as done by tapping the Done button at the top left of the screen.
How to Add Comments
To add comments for a task:
Open the full task view and switch to the Comments tab.
Write your comment and send it.
IMPORTANT:
The current version of the mobile app doesn't allow you to modify tasks and subtasks - for now. You must do this using our web application.
Access to tasks and subtasks depends on your assigned role and project permissions.
The timer feature is available in the full task view and can be pre-filled with task details.
